Scope of services
- Collection of soiled linen – bed sheets, pillowcases, blankets, patient gowns, theatre and recovery room linen, towels, scrubs, privacy curtains and reusable cleaning cloths.
- Washing and disinfection – infectious and non-infectious linen processed separately using healthcare-approved detergents and disinfectants.
- Delivery of clean linen – to agreed schedules, packaged to prevent contamination and delivered to designated storage areas.
- Linen inventory management – including maintenance of adequate emergency stock levels.
All processing must comply with healthcare infection prevention standards.
